You may be in the market for a new set and if so, consider taking the step up to one of the many LCD TV sets that are on the market. If you think you might be interested in an LCD television set, consider the Panasonic TX-L32S10. Its range of convenient features coupled with its low price and versatility makes it an excellent choice for all around family use.
The TX-L32S10 is one of the more popular additions to Panasonic’s Viera line of flat screen television sets and has many of the same features that have made them so popular. They include V-Audio Surround Sound and uses the Viera link for networking ease. The set also shows the same cutting edge style that others in the Viera line show including a sleek piano finish which positively gleams.
The TX-L32S10 television set is very adaptable to different uses and has four different picture modes to support movies, gaming, dynamic and normal views. The screen is set up to accommodate large groups gathered around by allowing for a wide viewing angle. The viewing angle is a full 178 degrees which provides plenty of distortion free viewing pleasure.
As well, although the screen on the TX-L32S10 showed very good black and white uniformity, there were some issues with elements of image quality. They included the tendency for the pixels to be somewhat undefined at the edges of the screen. Some users have felt that this may be due to the TV’s gaming applications since this can reduce aliasing during gaming. In addition, because there is not true 1:1 screen pixel mapping, it may not be possible to use this set for viewing items that are text-based.
If you are not comfortable with a number of different AV components, there are features to this television which you will appreciate. Viera link technology is a wonderful asset since you are now able to simply connect your AV components with an HDMI cable and connect it to the TX-L32S10 TV. At this point, it is suddenly possible to control diverse AV elements with one controller. And what a controller it is, too. Like most Panasonic remotes it is well thought out, simply designed, and quite functional.
If you have an interest in digital photography, there are two features which make the TX-L32S10 an excellent choice. The first is the capacity for the TV to accept SD memory cards via a slot in the unit and display the contents of the card onscreen. The second is that any new LUMIX camera that is equipped with an HDMI output terminal can be connected to the TV via a cable and you can also view your digital images in that way. This is an excellent feature for people who want to display their images to family and friends but do not want to be tied to using a computer.
While there are many features which make this TX-L32S10 set appealing to many people, it is an entry level LCD TV and this is something you should remember. While there are a number of amazing features, there are some issues with this set. While the glossy finish of the television set looks quite stylish, it is prone to scratching and will show fingerprints which may put some people off this model. Also, as far as screen images are concerned, while the image quality is good, if you are a performance user who wants to push this unit you may find you are unable to calibrate the screen to the extent you may wish to.
If you want a LCD TV for a decent price, look at the TX-L32S10. Its range of features and attractive price point may make this the television for you.
